SAVE THE DATE: USU Orchestra Brings Music from Russia and Bohemia to Logan

A musical evening at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church offers audiences a chance to experience some of the most romantic works from Bohemia and Russia performed by the Utah State University Symphony Orchestra, the young violinists from St. Thomas Aquinas, solo violinist Rebecca McFaul and guest conductor Carlos Riazuelo, director of orchestral studies at Louisiana State University.

The concert, “Flowing Memories,” is Friday, Oct. 24, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Hyde Park.

“We will be presenting the Sérénade Mélancolique by Tchaikovsky, several Slavonic Dances by Dvorák, and The Moldau by Smetana,” said Sergio Bernal, music director of the USU Symphony Orchestra.

“Flowing Memories” can be heard at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 725 S. 250 East in Hyde Park, at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24. The concert is free and open to the public.
