Utah State University wetlands ecologist Karin Kettenring is featured speaker for the university’s Science Unwrapped program Friday, Feb. 20.
Kettenring presents “Mighty Phragmites: Controlling Plant Invaders in Great Salt Lake Wetlands” at 7 p.m. in the Emert Auditorium, Room 130, of the Eccles Science Learning Center. Refreshments and hands-on learning activities follow her talk.
Kettenring’s talk is the second presentation in Science Unwrapped’s spring 2015 “Great Salt Lake Today” series during USU’s “Year of Water.”
Hosted by USU’s College of Science, Science Unwrapped is free and open to all ages.
