Register by Nov. 2 for USU Employee Health Screenings

USU’s Employee Wellness program, administered by the Office of Human Resources, offers health screenings and flu shots for faculty and staff Friday, Nov. 9, in the Taggart Student Center Stevenson Ballroom.

Hearing tests are offered free of charge. Health screenings, which include cholesterol tests, percentage body fat measurements, blood pressure checks and diabetes screenings, are also available for $12 for USU employees with a current health insurance card and $24 for non-benefit eligible employees.
 
Hearing tests and health screenings require pre-registration by Tuesday, Nov. 2. To register, contact Sharon Hislop at 797-1814.
 
Flu shots, along with immunizations for pneumonia, tetanus and whooping cough, will also be offered during the health fair. Pre-registration is not required for immunizations. Flu shots are $12 each for USU employees with current health insurance cards and their spouses. Flu shots for USU employee dependents and non-benefit eligible employees are $25 each.
 
Flu shots are offered from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in the TSC Stevenson Ballroom.
 
Methods of payment accepted for health screenings and immunizations are cash or check. Credit and debit card payments and payroll deductions are not accepted.
 
Immunizations and health screenings are also offered Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Innovation Campus for USU Research Foundation/Space Dynamics Lab employees and USU employees unable to attend the Nov. 9 health fair and clinic. Immunizations will be administered from 2:30-4 p.m. in the RP5 building auditorium, 489 E. 1650 North Research Park Way, North Logan. To register for health screenings at the Innovation Campus fair, contact Kory Jenkins at 797-4355 by Nov. 2.
