Rape Not Just “Women’s Problem”

Utah State University Sexual Assault Educator Rachel Hickman says rape prevention efforts aimed at teaching women to reduce risk are valuable, but men need education as well. Hickman says efforts focused solely on women perpetuate the myth that rape can be controlled by the victim. She advocates all-male peer education groups to reduce sexual assault.
