An essential gift for your child isn’t money, but the knowledge of how to manage it wisely. Kids need to learn how to earn, save, spend, borrow and share money, says Utah State University Extension specialist Marilyn Albertson. Money management skills learned in childhood prepare young adults to make sound financial decisions.
