Plants of Change

If you want to predict the future, you need to consider variability, says USU wildland resources professor Peter Adler. Adler says climate fluctuations may be good for some plant species and it may be advantageous for native grasses to undergo changes in climate because climate variability may prevent a single species from taking over.
