Plan Alternate Routes during Steam Venting

The Customer Services office of Utah State University Facilities has announced a steam “blow off” that will take place Tuesday, July 2, in front of USU’s George S. Eccles Business Building, home to the Huntsman School of Business.

The steam venting takes place between 5 and 6 p.m. July 2. During that time, the contractor for the planned expansion will clean out the new steam lines prior to connecting them to the building. 

Facilities said the procedure will be noisy and could cause concerns for pedestrians. In light of the work, Facilities advises alternative routes during that time for those who usually use the sidewalks in the area.
