Percussion at Utah State University
The Utah State University Department of Music presents the annual fall percussion ensembles concert Monday, Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the Kent Concert Hall, located in the Chase Fine Arts Center on USU’s Logan campus.
“The audience will find this concert exciting because of the diverse array of music the students will perform,” said Jason Nicholson, assistant professor of percussion in the Caine College of the Arts.
The pieces to be performed range from large percussion ensembles to a group of non-pitched percussion instruments.
“A wide variety of musical tastes will be represented in this concert, with something for everyone to enjoy, including numbers that feature marimba quartets and ensembles,” Nicholson said.
Tickets are $10 general admission, $8 seniors and youth, $5 USU faculty and staff and free for USU students with ID.
