P.E.A. Fall Conference/Banquet to be Held Nov. 11

The Professional Employees Association (PEA) of Utah State is having its fall 2004 conference and banquet Thursday, Nov. 11.
 
The Professional Employees Association represents all professional employees of the university community and supports them by encouraging and facilitating growth and advancement through university education, professional development and training opportunities.
 
A “meet and greet,” with refreshments included, will be held in the Center Colony Room in the Taggart Student Center (TSC) from 8:30-9 a.m.
 
Following the meet and greet, workshops will be held at 9 a.m. Terri Hodges will discuss “How the Human Resource Office Helps PEA Members” in the Senate Chambers, TSC 336. Daren Olsen will discuss “Creative Problem Solving Strategies,” in the Center Colony Room. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend one of the two workshops.
 
The second set of workshops begins at 10:30 a.m. Amanda Erickson will talk about “Workplace Communication and Conflict Management” in the Center Colony Room. Sergeant Lynn Wright will talk about “Disaster Preparedness in the Workplace” in the Senate Chambers. Like the first set of workshops, attendees may choose one of the two options.
 
Following the workshops, a banquet will be held at noon in the TSC Ballroom, the cost is $10.
