(Overnight) Charge It

Electric cars require recharging after every 100 miles, which most motorists find inconvenient. But if such car owners recharged overnight, electric utilities could sell more power during a period of typically slow usage. In this way, says Utah State University researcher Ed Stafford, domestic electricity could be a viable alternative to foreign oil.
