Outstanding Employee Nomination Deadline Approaches
The nomination deadline for Utah State University’s Outstanding Employee Awards is fast approaching. Nominations are due by Monday, March 6.
The Outstanding Employee Awards recognize USU employees in three areas — Classified Employees, Professional Employees and Faculty. Nominations can be made by anyone in those areas as well as students. The awards recognize employees who consistently contribute to USU by carrying out the responsibilities of their jobs in an exceptional manner.
Nominees and winners will be recognized at the annual years-of-service luncheon.
A cash award, plaque and luncheon ticket will be given to each employee who receives the outstanding employee award in each category. A cash award also goes to the two finalists in each category.
Nomination forms can be obtained in the Human Resources office or can be downloaded at the Human Resources Web site.
“If you know an USU employee who should be recognized for their outstanding contribution to the university or the community, be sure to nominate them for an Outstanding Employee Award,” said Renee Payne, communications coordinator for USU’s office of Human Resources.
