Open House Showcases Research and Services

The Emma Eccles Jones Early Childhood Education and Research Center is the site of a number of open house tours April 10 from 2-5 p.m.

The building resembles sandstone cliffs. But inside, it’s more like a hive.

That’s the side of the Emma Eccles Jones Early Childhood Education and Research Center that will be open to the public April 10 from 2 to 5 p.m. Research will be showcased throughout the building, and more information will be available on the many services that happen within its walls.

If you’re a graduate student, come for the research possibilities.

If your family includes a young child, you can find out more about our early care and preschool options.

If you know a school-aged child who could benefit from tutoring in math or language and literacy, please come and see how we’re putting research-based practices to work in the lives of young students.

Light refreshments will be served, and ambassadors will be on hand to offer guided tours.

Information will be presented on the research and services offered by:

The Delores Doré Eccles Center for Early Care and Education

An NAEYC-accredited program for young children

Sound Beginnings

An early education program for children with hearing loss whose families want their children to learn to listen and talk

Language and Literacy Center

Neuro Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) Lab
