On the Road to Fitness

Campus Recreation and USU Wellness have again partnered and offer the Fitness Passport to USU faculty, staff, students and members of the community. The fitness passport offers exercise classes on the Utah State University campus, including yoga, Pilates, body sculpting, cardio sculpting, kickboxing, step aerobics, spinning, water aerobics and Harmony is the World (gentle Aikido).

Caroline Shugart, USU Wellness coordinator, suggests keeping the workout schedule fresh by attending any of the classes offered with the passport.

“Our motto is ‘any class, any time any day’ for one fair price,” she said.

To introduce the program, free classes are offered Aug. 31-Sept. 4.

Fitness passports are $45 per semester for USU employees/spouses with USU ID and $99 per semester for community members. USU students can purchase a fitness passport for $25 per semester. Passports can be purchased at the Service Desk located at the pool cage in HPER or at the Nelson Fieldhouse on the USU campus. Information is available online, or contact Shelly Bybee, Campus Recreation, 435-797-7218.
