Newly Promoted Professors Honored at Reception

USU President Stan L. Albrecht, Provost Raymond T. Coward, and several USU deans and department heads all gathered in the Haight Alumni Center to celebrate USU faculty newly promoted to full professor and those awarded tenure in 2006-07.

“I want to congratulate all of you,” said President Albrecht. “I am honored to have you as faculty and colleagues at USU. It is an exciting time to be associated with this university.”

 

Forty-six faculty representing all seven colleges, university libraries, continuing education and cooperative Extension were at the reception.

 

“This is a very special day and we are honoring very special people who are a part of our intellectual community,” said Provost Coward.

 

Below is the list of those promoted to professor and those who received tenure. Tenure and promotion are effective July 1, 2006.
