New Trustees Sworn In

Douglas D. Anderson, Salt Lake City; Robert L. Foley, Vernal; and Kellie Schultz Wood, Salt Lake City, took the oath of office Aug. 26, becoming the newest members of the Utah State University Board of Trustees.
 
The new board members, sworn in by Chairman Richard L. Shipley, were appointed earlier this summer by Gov. Jon Huntsman, Jr.
 
The university's top governing board, which generally meets monthly on campus, is made up of  10 members.
 
The Board of Trustees is an advisory body to the university's president. It includes eight persons, appointed by the governor, to four-year terms, as well as two ex-officio members who are the president of the university's alumni association and the president of the Associated Students of Utah State University.
