Neon Signs of Environmental Change
USU biologist Jim MacMahon is among a group of researchers leading efforts to establish a nationwide system capable of continuously monitoring thousands of environmental measurements. The massive project, called the National Ecological Observatory Network or “NEON,” will enable scientists to forecast what’s happening to the human environment, says MacMahon.
