Natural Gas

USU researcher Conly Hansen has created a way to convert manure into electricity. The technology uses anaerobic bacterial digesters to break down organic matter and produce methane gas, which can be used to produce electricity. A 1,000-cow dairy can generate enough electricity for 100 homes.
