More Sensitive Recordings

A new recording technology developed in Utah is enabling musical ensembles, such as Utah State University’s Fry Street Quartet, to produce better quality CDs. Isolated microphone technology, better known as “IsoMike,” uses heart-shaped baffles to absorb sound energy and heighten microphone sensitivity. The result is clear capture of the softest musical tones.
