Mixed Signals

Today's speaker phones feature "half-duplex" technology that allows you to either talk or listen, but not both at the same time. USU researchers are developing the capability for full-duplex phones that allow callers to talk and hear simultaneously. The technology, which involves separating mixed signals, could eventually enable voice command of radios and televisions.
