Memorial Fund Established for USU Student
A memorial fund has been established for Eric S. Anderson at America West Credit Union. Proceeds will assist with funeral and burial costs. The account name is the “Eric S. Anderson Memorial Fund” (account number 906259).
Donations can be made via checks through the mail. Please send donations to: America West Credit Union, P.O. Box 9199, Ogden, UT 94409. Donations can also be made at the credit union or through electronic fund transfers.
Funeral services for Eric are Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Welby 2nd Ward Chapel, 9376 South 4000 West, West Jordan, at noon.
Utah State University student Eric Scott Anderson, 24, of West Jordan, Utah, died Monday, Aug. 26, in a tragic accident on Old Main Hill at USU.
He was a music major who played trumpet and was a member of USU’s marching band.
“Our hearts go out to Eric’s family and friends,” said USU President Stan Albrecht. “This is an extremely tragic event, and we offer our sincere condolences to the family and to all the young people involved in this terrible accident.”
