Meet SimMan at Open House

Everyone is invited to open house events that introduce SimMan — short for simulated man — a new teaching tool in the Weber State University/Utah State University Cooperative Nursing Program.

The first open house takes place from noon-3 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, with a second open house from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, March 21, in the program’s clinical lab located in the Animal Sciences building room 201 on the USU campus.

SimMan is a gift from Utah’s Ruth Eleanor Bamberger and John Ernest Bamberger Memorial Foundation. The philanthropic organization recently gifted the health professional program with the patient simulator. Additional funding to prepare the teaching space for the simulator and to provide a realistic clinical setting was provided by USU alum Gordon Christensen.
