Legislative Dinner

Utah State University President Stan Albrecht and First Lady Joyce Albrecht hosted a dinner at the President’s Home for members of the area’s legislative delegation. Support for Utah State University and a number of its programs was crucial in this year’s legislative session.

Funds to move existing agricultural programs to the Caine Dairy, the USTAR initiative and support at USU’s regional campuses are several of the important legislative measures passed during the past session.

Support by the region’s legislative delegates is important to Utah State University, President Albrecht said. He thanked all for their ongoing efforts on USU’s behalf.

Those attending the dinner included Sen. Peter C. Knudson, majority leader, and Sen. Lyle Hillyard. Representatives included Ben C. Ferry, assistant majority whip, Craig W. Buttars, Fred Hunsaker, Ronda Menlove and Scott Wyatt.
