Learn About Native American Culture at the USU Museum of Anthropology
The Saturday activity series continues at Utah State University’s Museum of Anthropology. The weekly guests are invited to learn about Native American culture from the USU Native American Student Council.
Activities take place Saturday, Nov. 17. Visitors will be treated to storytelling, food and lessons on Native culture.
USU students and members of the public are invited to drop in any time during the museum’s new 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday hours. Dancing will begin at noon.
“Embracing the cultures of the Native American population is a way we can really appreciate the land and the past of our state and community,” said museum intern Melissa Allen.
The USU Museum of Anthropology is on the Utah State University campus in the south turret of the historic Old Main building, room 252. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot, south of the building.
