Learn About Mesopotamia at the USU Museum of Anthropology

The Saturday activity series at Utah State University’s Museum of Anthropology continues Jan. 19, with sessions that teach guests about Mesopotamian creation stories and writing.

USU students and members of the public are invited to drop in any time during the museum’s 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday hours. Adults and children will be able to learn about the area that has been called the “cradle of civilization” in the area of modern Iraq. This culture forms the roots of many modern religions and writing styles.

The USU Museum of Anthropology is on the USU campus in the south turret of the historic Old Main building, room 252. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot, south of the building.
