Learn About and Celebrate Chinese New Year at USU's Museum of Anthropology

In its ongoing Saturday activity series, the Utah State University Museum of Anthropology continues the new year with an activity and lesson on the Chinese New Year. Activities at USU take place Saturday, Feb. 9.


USU students and members of the public are invited to the museum any time during the 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday hours. Guests may participate in a variety of activities relating to Chinese New Year and taste some traditional foods.

 

“The Lunar new year is an important holiday for many people throughout Asia,” said museum intern Allison Willmore. “It’s also important for many Asian Americans.’”

 

The USU Museum of Anthropology is on the USU campus in the south turret of the historic Old Main building, room 252. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot, south of the building.
