Korean Delegation Visits Utah State University
A three-member delegation from Changwon National University, Korea, visited Utah State University Tuesday, Aug. 14. Delegation members included the university’s president, Seong Ho Park, Yong Ill Lee, dean of planning, and Jung Ki Kim, dean of international affairs. USU Executive Vice President and Provost Raymond T. Coward welcomed the delegation to campus.
While on campus, the delegation visited USU’s electrical and computer engineering and chemistry departments. It also met with representatives in the College of Business.
The delegation’s visit strengthens the relationship with USU. An institutional agreement of cooperation for exchange was signed, creating opportunities for faculty and student exchanges between Changwon National University and Utah State University.
Changwon National University is one of the fastest-growing academic institutions of higher learning in Kyongsangnam-do Province, located in southern Korea. It has an enrollment of approximately 10,000, including 8,300 undergraduate students and 1,800 graduate students.
