Kids Need Calcium

A child’s peak bone building years occur between the ages of 9 to 18, yet a USDA study finds most kids are not getting enough calcium. Utah State University Extension Agent Pauline Williams suggests including cheese, milk and yogurt in children’s meals and snacks to boost daily calcium intake. She also encourages regular physical activity to build bone strength.
