Kid-Friendly 'Hoods = Happier Families

Today's parents typically work more hours outside the home than their predecessors. USU researchers found that informal support parents receive from social networks in the communities where they live eases the stress of balancing work and family. Dads appear to benefit even more than moms from neighborhood cohesion.
