Keep Fido Safe During Cold Weather

Winter cold can be harmful and even deadly for outdoor pets, says Utah State University Extension veterinarian Clell Bagley. Monitor your pets closely to ensure they’re dry and comfortable. During extreme cold bring them into a partially heated area, such as a garage. Ensure that your pet’s water supply doesn’t freeze and provide good nutrition.
