Journalism/Communication students competed in the National Broadcast Society Western Region competition and represented Utah State University quite well.
First place--Magazine Program for Cache Rendezvous
First place--Public Affairs/Interview Program--"Declining Enrollment Interview" by Coreena Payne, Brooke Barker and Jennifer Reese
First place--Sports Segment--"Fantasy Football Fanatics"--Matthew L. Glade, Huu Tran and Marques Chavez
Third place--Sports Package--"USU v. San Jose State"--Marqeus Chavez and Lindsay Meintel
The first place entries are all eligible to be entered in the national contest.
