Jasmine Weiss Named USU Dining Services February Employee of the Month

Utah State University Quadside Café employee Jasmine Weiss was named as USU Dining Services Employee of the Month for February.

Each month Dining Services focuses on one of its seven core values and selects an hourly employee who exemplifies the month’s core value. For February, Dining Services highlighted Integrity, as it displays how employees stand by their word in every circumstance and trusts others to do the same.
Weiss works at the Quadside Café located in the Merrill-Cazier Library. She was first selected by her peers, then by The Quadside management and finally by Dining Services Executive Director Alan J. Andersen.

“Jasmine is a wonderful representation of any of the Dining Services values, but above all her work ethic is an excellent example of integrity,” said Andersen. “I always know that when Jasmine is working the job will be completed to the highest standards because she holds herself accountable. When she leaves at the end of the semester she will leave a big hole in the café. She always makes employees and customers feel valued and validated. She has a good attitude and works hard no matter what.”

As a Dining Services’ Employee of the Month, Weiss received a plaque and a $50 Aggie Express Gift Card, presented by Andersen.

“Integrity isn't just being honest, it’s doing your job in an honest way — the way it’s supposed to be done,” continued Andersen. “Jasmine goes above and beyond no matter what. She's a great employee and it will be so sad when she graduates and leaves us.”
