It's the Dialogue, Not 'The Talk'

Utah State University researcher Brent Miller says teens who feel close to their parents are less likely to engage in sex and other risky behaviors. While some teens rebel against rules, most welcome guidance from parents. If parents and kids are on good terms, kids tolerate parental advice and involvement, says Miller.
