Is Autism On The Rise?

Autism diagnoses have soared in recent years and many blame childhood vaccines. But could the increase simply be the result of greater awareness by health care practitioners? Utah State University researcher Vijendra Singh says no, as diagnostic criteria have not changed significantly over the years. He suspects the disorder is caused by a virus-induced autoimmune reaction.
