Utah State University’s International Student Council presents its annual Mr. and Miss International Competition Friday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. in the Taggart Student Center Auditorium.

The event celebrates the diversity on Utah State University’s campus through clothing, talents and videos. It provides a great opportunity to travel the globe in one night and learn about the diverse cultures that add to the vibrancy of Logan, Utah.

Admission is FREE!

Everyone is welcome to join the international community in this culturally diverse night. It’s a chance to see the world through your fellow student’s talents and performances.

Mr. and Miss International is a pageant among the international students of USU where each country has the chance to be represented by two participants — a male and a female. Each country will compete by representing their country through a short video, a talent show and traditional clothes.

Yuzhen Luo is president of USU’s International Student council.

“Mr. and Miss International creates a platform for international students to showcase their unique cultures and heritage through performances from all over the world,” Luo said. “This is a prestigious event where everyone is welcomed to be entertained and amazed by our cultural diversity on campus. It is by far one of the most entertaining activities of the year.”

The event is part of USU’s International Education Week.
