Interior Design Students Recognized For Achievements

Utah State University students Lindsey Hendricks, Marianne Perschon and Jessica Bailey were rewarded for their achievements and contributions to interior design.

Each year designers from the Intermountain West gather to honor those who have made major contributions to design. This year's event took place at the Grand America Hotel.

Hendricks won the Solutia Ultron Rising award and Perschon took second place in the Theresa Bradley Spirit award.

"Our goal is to be nationally recognized," said Darrin Brooks, professor of interior design, “and we are seeing our students' names over and over again in the media."

Brooks said Hendricks was cited for her outstanding rendering skills, and her work will be included in an ASID future publication.

Bailey and Hendricks' design boards were displayed during the Interiors 2005 which took place in San Diego in March.
