Innovative Flu Drug
Utah State University scientists are testing a preventive treatment to combat new strains of influenza. Developed in California, the drug, called “Fludase,” is administered as an inhalant. Unlike a traditional vaccine, which provides a weakened strain of the virus, Fludase hinders the virus from passing through a person’s airway and causing infection.
