In Memoriam - Ken Brewer

Beloved Utah State University faculty emeritus of English and Utah’s Poet Laureate Ken Brewer died at his home Wednesday, March 15, surrounded by close family and friends.

A memorial service on the USU campus will be scheduled near the end of April. Details will be forthcoming.

 

“The Utah State University family has suffered a great loss,” Utah State University President Stan Albrecht said. “We are greatly saddened by Ken Brewer’s death and extend our deepest sympathy to his family. We are honored to have known him as an educator, artist and friend. There is much we can learn from the way he faced his final days with honor, dignity and grace. He will be greatly missed.”
