Household Finance and Budgeting Workshop

Utah State University’s Women’s Center for Lifelong Learning and the Reentry Student Center sponsor a household finance and budgeting workshop Wednesday, Nov. 28, from noon until 1 p.m. in the Taggart Student Center Senate Chambers, room 336.

Utah State University students are invited to attend and learn about sound money management principles. The workshop is taught by Jean Lown, a professor in USU’s Department of Family, Consumer and Human Development.

 

Topics to be discussed include spending plans, how to pay down debt and start saving, prudent credit use and essential insurance plans. The workshop includes putting everything together in a financial checkup.

 

Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch. Drinks and dessert is provided.
