Help For Advanced Readers

No Child Left Behind programs help struggling readers, but some educators say high-ability readers often get bored in the classroom. Utah State University, in partnership with five Utah school districts, recently received a federal grant to continue the Advanced Readers at Risk Project. Started three years ago, the program trains teachers to encourage and challenge advanced readers.
