HASS Hour Features Faculty Members in 10-Minute Informational Sessions
The HASS Hour, a monthly series offered by the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at Utah State University, puts a faculty member or administrator in the spotlight to share insights, research or creative activity. Faculty members are featured in a 10-minute “TimePiece.” A portion of socializing and fun is served along the way as well, said Gary Kiger, HASS dean.
July’s event features Victoria Rowe, director of the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art. She will present “The Art of Acquisition” Thursday, July 19, at the Italian Place, 48 Federal Avenue, Logan.
HASS Hour begins with a social gathering at 5:15 p.m., and the TimePiece begins at approximately 6 p.m. Food, including hors d’oeuvres, is served during the social hour. Admission is $10 for individuals and $18 for couples.
“Please join us monthly for these enjoyable sessions,” Kiger said. “I’m often surprised at the breadth and depth of information that our faculty provides. I always learn something and I always have fun.”
Faculty, staff and members of the public are invited to attend HASS Hour. For information, call the college office at (435) 797-1195.
