Great Utah ShakeOut Set for April 17
On Wednesday, April 17, thousands of people around the state will participate in the Great Utah ShakeOut, the largest earthquake drill in Utah history.
USU Emergency Management invites all USU departments and regional campuses to participate in the drill. The drill will start at 10:15 a.m. and last approximately one minute.
Participants can find the audio for the drill online. The drill will also be broadcast on Utah Public Radio and Aggie TV channel 18.
An earthquake safety video, “Utah: Preparedness Now,” is available on YouTube which participants are encouraged to show in their classrooms.
