Getting to Know You

The hobo spider is not aggressive, and most bites occur when the spider is trapped in clothing or bedding, says USU Extension Entomologist Diane Alston. Indoor sites such as the basement floor, furniture and bedding that touch the floor and undisturbed areas are likely places to encounter them. Clean often behind furniture, along baseboards and in corners of these areas.
