Games of the World at the USU Museum of Anthropology

Utah State University’s Museum of Anthropology continues its “Saturdays at the Museum” series Aug. 1 with a look at games from around the world. Activities for children and adults are planned. Games start at 11 a.m. and continue through 3:30 p.m.

 

“Humans have been playing games for thousands of years,” said Lowell Sagers, a USU student and a Saturday’s program planner. “Games are a part of every culture and show our creativity. The games we have chosen for this day are from various cultures around the world, both past and present. We invite all people to come enjoy the fun.”

 

USU students and members of the public are invited to the museum any time during the 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday hours.

 

The USU Museum of Anthropology is on the USU campus in the south turret of the historic Old Main building, Room 252. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot, south of the building. For more information on this event, call museum staff at (435) 797-7545.
