Fulbright Scholar Program Workshop

Fulbright Scholar Program Workshop

Utah State faculty and administrators who are interested in teaching or conducting research abroad are encouraged to attend the Fulbright Scholar Program Workshop sponsored by the International Affairs Office Tuesday, April 13. The workshop, where successful Fulbright scholarship recipients from Utah State will give insight and answer questions, runs from 10-11 a.m. in room 303 of the Eccles Conference Center.

The Fulbright Program, now in its 55th year, has amassed an alumni body of some 82,000 scholars, representing nearly every nation of the world. The traditional Fulbright Scholar Program sends 800 faculty and professionals from the United States abroad to 140 countries each year for two months to a full academic year. Grantees lecture and conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields.

The Fulbright Distinguished Chairs Program awards are among the most prestigious appointments in the Fulbright Scholar Program. The Fulbright Senior Specialists Program provides short term Fulbright grants of two to six weeks. Activities offer faculty and professionals opportunities to collaborate on curriculum and faculty development, institutional planning and a variety of other activities.
