Football Season and Home Opener Against Southern Utah Kicks Off at 7 p.m.

Utah State [University] Athletics announced Wednesday [Aug. 5] that its season and home opening football game against Southern Utah on Thursday, Sept. 3, on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium will kick off at 7 p.m. (MT). The game will not be televised.

Following its season opener, Utah State plays back-to-back road games against Pac-12 opponents at Utah (ESPN2) on Friday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. (MT) and at Washington (Pac-12 Network) on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 3 p.m. (MT).

Following back-to-back road games and a bye week in September, Utah State begins its third season in the Mountain West by hosting Colorado State (ESPN Networks) on Saturday, Oct. 3. USU also hosts Boise State (CBS Sports Network) Friday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. (MT) and Wyoming (ESPN2) Friday, Oct. 30, at 8:15 p.m. (MT).

Following back-to-back Mountain West road games to begin the month of November, Utah State concludes its regular season with back-to-back home games against Nevada (ESPN Networks) on Saturday, Nov. 21, and against BYU (CBS Sports Network) Saturday, Nov. 28, at 1:30 p.m. (MT).

For fans who have yet to renew or purchase their football season tickets or mini-plans, we will be doing a “No Fee Friday” promotion on Aug. 7 where there are no per ticket fees or order charges. Fans could save up to $20 on purchases. In addition, single-game tickets will go on sale to Big Blue Scholarship Fund members on Monday, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m., while single-game tickets will go on sale to football season ticket members on Friday, Aug. 14., at 10 a.m., and single-game tickets to the general public will go on sale on Monday, Aug. 17, at 10 a.m.
