Football Coaching Positions Filled

A number of coaching positions have been filled for Utah State University’s football program. Julius Brown, Jovon Bouknight, Luke Wells and Steve Farmer were either promoted or named to several areas.
Steve Farmer, who has 17 years of coaching experience including nine seasons as an offensive coordinator, has been named Utah State’s offensive line coach, it was announced Tuesday [Feb. 9] by Aggie head coach Matt Wells. Farmer replaces Mark Weber who accepted a similar position at Fresno State. (Read the full announcement on the Athletics website.)
Coach Wells also announced Tuesday that passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach Jovon Bouknight has been promoted to co-offensive coordinator, while Luke Wells will remain as co-offensive coordinator.
Bouknight, who is entering his eighth season at Utah State, will continue to coach the wide receivers, while Luke Wells will now coach the quarterbacks after working with the tight ends the past three years. (Read the full announcement on the Athletics website.)
Julius Brown, who has been part of five conference championships and nine bowl games as a coach, has been named Utah State’s cornerbacks coach, it was announced by Aggie head coach Matt Wells Wednesday [February 10]. (Read the full announcement on the Athletics website.)
