Flags to Fly at Half-Staff to Honor Rebecca Lockhart

Utah Gov. Gary R. Herbert has authorized the lowering of the flags of the United States of America and the state of Utah at all state facilities. In compliance with the governor’s order, the flags will be lowered in honor of former Speaker of the House Rebecca Lockhart.

The former House Speaker will be honored during a public memorial service at the Utah State Capital Thursday, Jan. 22. Burial is Jan. 23.

The flags will fly at half-staff from sunrise Thursday, Jan. 22, through sunset Friday, Jan. 23.
