Flags Fly at Half-Staff March 9 to Honor Deedee Corradini

The flag of the United States of America and the Utah state flag will be flown at half-staff Monday, March 9, in honor of former Salt Lake City, Utah, mayor Deedee Corradini.

Utah Gov. Gary R. Herbert authorized the honor. The flags will be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset.

Corradini served two terms as Salt Lake City’s first and only female mayor from 1992 to 2000. She died Sunday, March 1. She will be buried Monday, March 9.
