Fast Math

Though we're scarcely aware of it, our cell phones and computers perform thousands of mathematical computations each time we use them. USU researchers are designing fast algorithms that provide greater computing power with less energy in a smaller space. Such technology will transform digital devices into increasingly compact, more powerful, more energy-efficient and less costly designs.
