Farewell Reception for Juan Franco
A farewell reception for Juan N. Franco, vice president for student services, is Monday, April 24, from 3-5 p.m. at the Taggart Student Center Skyroom. Members of the campus community are invited to attend and wish Dr. Franco well.
Franco has accepted a position as vice chancellor for student affairs at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He assumes his new role there July 1.
During his tenure at USU Franco was named Administrator of the Year in 2004. He joined USU in 2003.
“I want to let you know how much I have enjoyed working with you and having you as friends, and hope to continue our friendship after I leave Logan,” Franco said in an email to members of the university’s executive committee at the time of his appointment to the Nebraska position. “Lisa and I will greatly miss USU and Cache Valley.”
